Tianwei Signs 70-MW Thin-film Deal with Thailand Green Energy
Just three weeks after production officially began, Oerlikon Solar’s Chinese customer Tianwei SolarFilms has signed one of the largest deals in thin film silicon PV history with Thailand Green Energy Co. Ltd. Under the terms of this agreement, Tianwei SolarFilms will provide 70 megawatts (MW) of thin film solar panels to rapidly emerging markets across Southeast Asia.
